A cotswold stone house with a very chiq contemporary interior demanded a similar treatment outside. Granite slabs and setts created a muted palette to set off the green grass and the planting in the raised beds which will over time emerge into a riot of colour. Two curtains of water emerge from these beds, spilling into pools and then flowing through rills lit by LED strips towards a central reservoir upon which seems to float a silver mirrored ball. The garden is kept low maintenance by the use of weed matting.
