This garden was designed to be fusion of contemporary and traditional styles with a slight Japanese flavour.
Use of dark grey timber in the pergola and sleeper beds sets off the colour of the planting and compliments the pale grey composite decking.
One of the main requirements was to create a space for a hot tub which would be half recessed into the ground and the rest wrapped around with layered steps of decking to minimise its visual impact and create ease of access.
