The brief for this garden at Luckington Community Primary School was to create an outdoor classroom and sensory garden. Previously, the entire area was covered in tarmac and it is the entry point to the school. A series of four curving paths lead to the central seating area with rustic oak sleeper benches. Sumptuous and indulgent planting gives a wide variety of texture, aroma and colour throughout the year. The children have responded extremely well and now it is an integral part of the school day, with plenty of quiet corners to read in and watch the butterflies.
